Sunday bloody Sunday

August 14, 2011

View from Greyfriars Bridge (5 mins toddler paced walk)

Or not infact…twas positively perfect here in the market town.  We unpacked a bit more, played and fed the kids, made a shepherds pie, went for a walk down by the river, ate, read the papers, played a bit more, got rid of the kids, and now sitting in the evening sunshine enjoying a drink.  Who could ask for more?

PS. Sad to report that if you listen very closely, at 7am, you can hear the drum of traffic from the garden.  I think.  Adam thinks I’ve got some kind of hearing disorder…

Hi Rosie, its great to be a part of your little adventure. And quite whirlwind all round, no less so because we are only just getting up to speed on the fact that you are no longer living around the corner; we didn’t get to bring a card and pressie around for Trilby; and most importantly we didn’t get to go for a Sunday fish supper at Bradys before you departed. We will have to make up for it by taking up the opportunity to come visit you guys for cider tasting etc etc once you have settled in. All the best and look forward to hearing your news.

Give YOU a chance? Are you the moderator? Sorry, I don’t know how this works? You’re the moderator? Eeek. Sorry.

(I’ve never owned a blog. Nor contributed to one, far’s I know.)

Just kidding about social services. I just assume big brother State keeps an eye on us wherever we go… No?
