Cabin Fever

And so, before we re-commence the tale of settling-in in the shires; Norway.  Well, there was weather.  Admittedly not as bad as that on the East coast of the States, though since there was no internet, no phone reception, no newspapers, we were oblivious to this and all else, so for us, it was definitely weather.  There was snow, there was rain, but mostly there was just cloud.  Wonderfully romantic and wild, though sadly somewhat lost on my mother me and the kids  By the time the boys came out to join us, typically it cleared bloody up.  Needless to say the kids were excellent, travelled brilliantly and the hat even slept some nights (though no1 child took up the rallying call and woke instead, but hey, what can you do).  I was not such a good traveller.  Stressing far more than was necessary about the disruption to routine, and other ridiculously minor issues that became ever so important to me.  I was not pleasant.  I’m sorry.
