When the boss is away

So yesterday i had to nip up to London to get a mole removed (looked benign the plastic surgeon said), leaving Adam with the kids.  So whilst i was sat, lonely as a cloud, reading for 6 hours on the train, they were off adventuring.  Acton Burnell Castle was the destination for an epic game of hide and seek – a 13th Century ruin about 20 mins drive away.  Looks fab, gutted to have not been there myself, but am sure there’ll be other opportunities to go and visit!
